After adjusting for confounding factors such as age, sex, hypertension, smoking, LDL, cystatin C, hsTnI, proteinuria, homocysteine, and FHS, ordinal logistic regression showed that the differences in age (OR = 1.057, 95% CI = 1.038~1.076, p < 0.001), homocysteine (OR = 1.017, 95% CI = 1.002~1.033, p = 0.026), and proteinuria (OR = 0.628, 95% CI = 0.474~0.832, p = 0.001) among the three groups remained statistically significant (Table 2).
