PCDH11X and X-linked intellectual disability: The top-ranked X-linked and Y-linked genes correlating with these differences included PCDH11Y, PCDH11X and PCDH19, three genes from the protocadherin family that are involved in cell–cell recognition and development of the CNS, as well as ZNF711, a zinc finger protein transcription factor that is implicated in X-linked intellectual disability.
