Preeclampsia is associated with the increased t-PA, thrombomodulin, TAT, PAI-1, TF, TFPI1, and TFPI2 levels, decreased fibrinogen, antithrombin III, and PAI-2 levels, and increased fibrinolysis (e.g., D-dimer) compared to the normotensive controls [63,64,65,66]. Here, TFPI is linked to preeclampsia.
