[16] showed that a panel of four biomarkers consisting of CA125, HE4, CEA and VCAM-1 detected the early stage of ovarian cancer with 86% sensitivity and the later stages with 93% sensitivity at 98% specificity, using multiplex xMAP bead-based immunoassays.
