APOE ε4 carriers had a 3.8 times higher risk for AD compared to non-carriers (hazard ratio [HR] = 3.84, CI 2.7–5.4, p = 6.8e−15), while an increase in PRSp<5e−8 by one standard deviation from the mean was associated with a 1.2 times increase in the risk for AD (HR = 1.29, CI 1.080–1.549, p = 0.005). Here, APOE is linked to Alzheimer disease.
