SFRP2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: We found that the adipose expression of four SBCs, GPX3, COL6A1, SFRP2, and TIMP3, correlates significantly with the key NAFLD-associated liver networks, which represent important functional liver pathways, including the biosynthesis of amino acids, sugar and fatty acid metabolism, and metabolic processes (Supplementary Figs. 2c–h and Table S14).
