HIF3A and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: Non-gonosomal genes that were differentially regulated between sexes included an upregulation of NRXN1 in female oligodendrocytes (Fig. 4h), which has previously been linked to Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis, and of HIF3A in female OPCs which is related to oxidative stress (Fig. 4i).
