The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) were 76.5%, 90.7%, 45.6%, and 97.4%, respectively, when using serum HtrA4 levels above 1.8 multiples of the median for the gestational age as a cut-off value for predicting preeclampsia. This evidence concerns the gene HTRA4 and preeclampsia.
