AGT and Alzheimer disease: As compared to those receiving angiotensin-II stimulating drugs with high adherence, the risk of AD, vascular dementia, and other types of ADRD were significantly higher in patients who received angiotensin-II inhibiting drugs regardless of high (1.12, 1.07–1.17 for AD) or low adherence (1.09, 1.03–1.16 for AD).
