FOXP3 and neoplasm: Furthermore, for those alcohol drinkers among the male oral cancer patients in our study, individuals who carried the genotypic variant “T” of FOXP3 rs3761548 were found to be associated with lower risk to develop larger tumor size [AOR (95% CI) = 0.609 (0.378-0.983), p = 0.042] and moderate or poorer cell differentiated grade [AOR (95% CI) = 0.440 (0.248-0.779), p = 0.005] (Table 5).
