Notably, 5 of 6 patients with altered KMT5B in our study had the same mutation of p.Glu833_Asp835delinsSerProSer, including 3 diffuse astrocytomas, MYB- or MYBL1-altered and 2 diffuse pediatric-type high-grade gliomas, H3-wildtype and IDH-wildtype. This evidence concerns the gene KMT5B and central nervous system cancer.
