SOX2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: In the present study, the high expression of SOX2 in radiotherapy-resistant cells has been verified, and we further found that after altering the expression level of SOX2 using lentiviral transfection, the radiation tolerance of NSCLC cells was enhanced when SOX2 was overexpressed, and conversely, when SOX2 expression was downregulated, the cells showed a decreasing trend of radioresistance, indicating that SOX2 has a regulatory role.
