CD8A and neoplasm: Besides the vasculature surrounding tumor cells, tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells (32, 33, 34) and CD20+ B cells (32) are associated with delayed recurrence and improved survival, while the presence of immunosuppressive cells, such as Treg cells (34, 35, 36) and B7-H4 macrophages (35), are associated with unfavorable prognoses.
