Our major findings were as follows: (1) compared to HAIC plus lenvatinib, combination therapy of HAIC, lenvatinib, and PD-1 inhibitors significantly improved OS, PFS, and DCR, demonstrating a better survival benefit; (2) therapy options (HAIC+T vs. HAIC+T+P) were significant predictors for OS and PFS; and (3) no significant between-group differences in TARE were revealed except for hypertension. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and hypertensive disorder.
