We observed a significant upregulation of key inflammasome components (AIM2, ALK, IRF3, 4 and 8, NFKB1 and 2, NOD2, NLRP1 and 3, CASP1 and 5, CARD8 and 9) in M0 and M1 macrophages in DLBCL compared with spleen samples (tumor/spleen fold change: 5.8e+01 to 5.6e+04 for M0; 1.4e+02 to 3.9e+06 for M1, p ≤0.01, respectively; except for NFKB1: p= 0.22), but not in M2 macrophages (tumor/spleen fold change: 4.3e-04 to 2.9e-01, p ≤1.e-15) (Figure 3 and Table 1).
