As depicted in Figure 1, the AUC for LCR in identifying neonatal sepsis was 0.70 (95% CI, 0.67–0.73, p < 0.001), which was higher than the AUC for lymphocyte count (AUC = 0.60, 95% CI, 0.57–0.63, p < 0.001) and CRP (AUC = 0.66, 95% CI, 0.63–0.69, p < 0.001) (p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and Neonatal sepsis.
