In IVW analyses, higher HDL cholesterol (OR, 1.10 [95% CI, 1.04-1.15]) and higher apoA1 (OR, 1.07 [95% CI, 1.00-1.13]) were associated with higher odds of AD, whereas smoking (OR, 0.88 [95% CI, 0.82-0.94]), higher BMI (OR, 0.89 [95% CI, 0.83-0.95]), and higher DBP (OR, 0.85 [95% CI, 0.78-0.92]) were associated with lower odds of AD. Here, APOA1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
