In this study, we found that the percentage of CTLA-4+Treg cells was higher in AD mice (Fig. 3b) and that CTLA-4 and CD86 expression on migratory DCs are involved in the suppressive mechanism of the CHS response in AD, based on the experiments with anti-CTLA-4 mAb administration (Fig. 4). The gene discussed is CTLA4; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
