Ubiquitin D (UBD) is a member of the ubiquitin-like (UBL) modifier family, highly expressed in a variety of cancers including colorectal cancer (CRC) (Su et al., 2021), and is also involved in cellular protein metabolic processes; positive regulation of I-kappaB kinase/NF-kappaB signaling; and positive regulation of apoptotic processes. Here, UBD is linked to cancer.
