MYD88 and food allergy: Experiments with the Clostridiales species-associated food allergy model showed that the commensal microbiota activated the MyD88–RORγt pathway in the nascent Treg cells to mediate the effects of bacteriotherapy against food allergy and this mechanisms included restoring the RORγt+ Treg population and re-establishing tolerance; however, dysbiosis impaired this Treg cell response (Abdel-Gadir et al., 2019).
