Our data also showed no significant alterations in the mRNA expression of antiviral IFNs (namely, IFN-β1 and IFN-λ1) nor in the signature chemokine CXCL10, during the secondary H3N2 infection and the HRV-A16 re-infection as compared to their respective single infections in hNECs (Supplementary Figure S3A–C).
