The levels of CDH1 mRNA were significantly upregulated in all subtypes of breast carcinoma (Fig. 2A), colon carcinoma (Fig. 2B), pancreatic carcinoma (Supplementary Fig. 1A—Additional file 1), and lung carcinoma (Supplementary Fig. 1B—Additional file 1) and remained mostly unchanged in the subtypes of head/neck carcinoma and liver carcinoma (Fig. 2C-D). This evidence concerns the gene CDH1 and breast carcinoma.
