HELLS and hepatocellular carcinoma: HELLS is overexpressed in colorectal, HCC, nasopharyngeal, and lung cancers, leading to poorer prognosis, and therefore, HELLS can be useful as a prognostic marker in various cancers (He et al., 2016; Yang et al., 2019b; Law et al., 2019; Liu et al., 2019; Zhu et al., 2020; Xing et al., 2021).
