In this review, we provide an overview of the role of ERIANIN, especially in cancer and innate immunity, and elaborates on its molecular mechanism related to anticancer activity through the well-known signalling pathways, including phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/AKT pathway, MEK pathway, JNK pathway, NRF2/PLOOH pathways, Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) pathway, GSK3β pathway, and NLRP3/ROS pathway. Here, AKT1 is linked to cancer.
