This was true for p16-positive (median OS: 39 months vs. NR, p <0.01 and median PFS: 33 months vs. NR, p<0.01) as well as p16-negative tumors (median OS: 14 vs. 26 months, p=0.11 and median PFS: 4.5 vs. 8 months, p=0.11), albeit the correlation was below statistical significance in the p16-negative cohort when stratified by the median of tumor-infiltrating CD8 T cells (see Supplementary Figure 11).
