Additionally, not only was KRT7-AS expression in breast cancer significantly downregulated compared with that in matched normal tissues (p < 0.001, Fig. 1B), but also the survival time of patients with low KRT7-AS levels was significantly reduced compared with that of patients with high levels of KRT7-AS (p = 0.017, Fig. 1C), suggesting that low KRT7-AS expression is a poor prognostic factor in breast cancer.
