This study has shown that PNIS is closely related to age, BMI, NRS2002 nutritional risk score, lymph node metastasis, tumor stage, tumor diameter, lymphocyte count, albumin, serum creatinine, and other clinicopathological features, and high PNIS is an independent risk factor for postoperative complications and short-term survival of patients with GC. Here, ALB is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
