INS and diabetes mellitus: Counselling on prescribed medications like directions for use (99.7%) and use of devices for insulin administration (99.7%), training on self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) (93.1%), education on healthy eating and exercise (91.3%), and strategy for prevention/treatment of long-term complications (91.3%) were the prime considerations for services other than dispensing (77.2%). Table 2 summarizes the responses regarding current practice and pharmacists' perceived roles in diabetes care.
