By comparing the percentages of CD45+CD3+CD69+ cells (CD69+ T cells) and CD45+CD3−CD69+ cells (CD69+ non-T cells) in peripheral blood of 20 healthy volunteers with that of 36 NSCLC patients, we found that the percentages of CD69+ T cells and CD69+ non-T cells in peripheral blood of NSCLC patients were significantly higher than that of healthy volunteers (Fig. 2B). The gene discussed is CD69; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
