We found similar results for the other cardiac blood biomarkers: per SD higher troponin I, NT-proBNP and GDF15, the odds ratio of dementia was 0.98 (95% CI 0.72; 1.23, p-value = 0.86), 0.97 (95% CI 0.90; 1.06, p-value = 0.46), and 1.07 (95% CI 0.93; 1.12, p-value = 0.32), respectively. Here, GDF15 is linked to dementia.
