According to this analysis, the most enriched significant pathways at pre-stroke were those associated with neurodegeneration-multiple diseases (183 DE genes), Alzheimer’s disease (152 DE genes), Huntington’s disease (124 DE genes), Parkinson’s disease (118 DE genes), PI3K-AKT signaling (83 DE genes), and MAPK signaling (70 DE genes). Here, AKT1 is linked to stroke disorder.
