We established an abortion-prone model using female CBA/J × male DBA/2 mice and found decreased calcein but increased ferritin expression in DSCs of abortion-prone mice (Figure 1G), accompanied by increased FTH (Ferritin heavy chain coding gene) and decreased SLC40A1 (Fpn coding gene) expression in the uterus of abortion-prone mice (Figure 1H). This evidence concerns the gene FTH1 and abortion.
