The positive test result group (stimulated peak LH ≥ 5 IU/L) had a higher frequency of underweight BMIs (0.73% vs. 0%), normal BMIs (73.72% vs. 62.50%), and overweight BMIs (16.79% vs. 8.33%), and we observed a lower frequency for obesity (8.76% vs. 29.17%) when compared with the negative test result group. Here, PLOD1 is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
