Metabolic proteins, such as glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH; 2.07-fold), phosphoglycerate kinase (PGK1; 1.70-fold), fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA; 1.96-fold), and pyruvate kinase PKM (PKM, 1.77-fold), had significantly higher abundance values in the T1D NETome compared to that of HC subjects (Figure 5A,D).
