Additionally, we found that long-time treatment (4 weeks) of MCF-7, SK-BR-3, and MCF-7/ADM cells with Gd-DTPA and gadodiamide upregulated TRPC5 expression and decreased the accumulation of ADM in breast cancer cell nuclei, which was abolished by TRPC5 antagonist, AC1903. This evidence concerns the gene TRPC5 and breast cancer.
