Therefore, in this study, we constructed SQSTM1 WT HepG2 cells and SQSTM1 KO HepG2 cells using the CRISPR/Cas9 system, studied the effects of SQSTM1/p62 on migration and invasion of HCC cells in vivo and in vitro, and determined whether SQSTM1/p62 can serve as an important target for cancer treatment.
