Therefore, the aim of this work was to assess, if certain functional polymorphisms of the genes that encode the activating FcγRs (FCGR2A encoding FcγRIIa, FCGR2C—FcγRIIc, FCGR3A—FcγRIIIa, FCGR3B—FcγRIIIb) and/or inhibiting FcγRIIb (FCGR2B gene) can predispose SA and TB development. The gene discussed is FCGR3B; the disease is tuberculosis.
