Given a paucity of investigation regarding the genetic architecture of susceptibility loci of prostate tumorigenesis and prognosis across TERT regions in distinct ancestries, we, therefore, utilize two large-scale population datasets from European and Chinese ancestries to validate the association of TERT loci polymorphisms with PCa, PCa aggressiveness, and PCa death, and to explore the genetic heterogeneity effect among distinct ethnic populations. The gene discussed is TERT; the disease is male reproductive organ cancer.
