We then analyzed TCGA database to evaluate the association between the expression levels of miR-497 and PRC2 complex, which includes EZH2, EED and SUZ12, and the results showed that there was an inversely strong correlation between levels of miR-497 and EZH2 compared to SUZ12 and EED levels, indicating that EZH2 was the limited regulator of miR-497 expression in esophageal cancer (Figure 3C). The gene discussed is EED; the disease is esophageal cancer.
