PTPA and cancer: These questions on putative PP2A-EMT interrelations in PDAC have currently become more important with the identification of PP2A targeting compounds (e.g., LB100, OA, Cantharidin) [34–36] and the recent development of small molecules that can stimulate (inhibited) PP2A activity (e.g. FTY720, “SMAP (small-molecule activators of PP2A)”) [18, 37–40] in relation to cancer treatment.
