The immunofluorescence analysis in the lung tissues clearly showed that the cGAMP treatment yielded a high E-cad level and low Vimentin level (Figure 10(A,B)), which consequently demonstrated that cGAMP was beneficial to the transformation of metastatic mesenchymal to epithelioid cells due to restricted expression of TGF-β in tumour microenvironment, thereby inhibiting the EMT process.
