TIGIT-deficient or TIGIT-inhibited mice are known to exhibit exacerbated symptoms of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and collagen-induced arthritis (CIA)16,17, and conversely, anti-mouse-TIGIT agonistic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have been reported to improve EAE symptoms by inhibiting T cell activation18. Here, TIGIT is linked to experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis.
