Next, we assessed the expression of both the canonical long form of TG2 (TGM2_v1) and the alternative truncated transcript TGM2_v2, in 57/101 patients’ biopsies after the exclusion of PCA3− biopsies from the prostate tumour group and PCA3+ biopsies from the prostate inflammation group. This evidence concerns the gene TGM2 and prostate neoplasm.
