A total of 9 genes significantly correlated with dismal prognosis were finally identified, including APOE, ASPM, BUB1B, EFNA1, MAGEA6, PBK, PUS7, TFRC and TTK. All these genes have been reported to be significantly associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis in various tumors [27–35]. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and neoplasm.
