Zhang and colleagues suggested that miR-32 overexpression inhibits ovarian cancer cell proliferation, by targeting B and T lymphocyte attenuator (BTLA), an activator of phosphatidylinositol-3 kinases (PI3K) which mediates cell proliferation and survival (Ning et al. 2021; Zhang et al. 2020). The gene discussed is BTLA; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
