Genes shared between endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian and endometrial cancer, asthma and migraine (CDC42, WNT4, SMAD3, SKAP1) were enriched in cell adhesion pathways (Gallagher et al., 2019; Adewuyi et al., 2020, 2022; Kho et al., 2021; Mortlock et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene CDC42 and uterine corpus leiomyoma.
