In particular, concurrent genomic alterations involving the MYC and BCL2 proto‐oncogenes are present in a small subset of DLBCL (5–10%), traditionally named “double‐hit lymphomas” (DHL; now also categorized as “High‐Grade B‐cell Lymphoma”; Swerdlow et al, 2016), characterized by poor therapeutic responses and dismal prognosis (Bisso et al, 2019; Davies, 2019; Dunleavy, 2021; Zhuang et al, 2022). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
