CREB1 and infarction: To further prove this conclusion, we investigated the effects of 666-15 (CREB inhibitor) on the neuroprotective effects in the Tdv-treated (8.0 mg/kg) rats after MCAO/expression R. As shown in Figure 5, pretreatment with the CREB inhibitor 666-15 resulted in the inhibition of the neuroprotective effect of Tdv on the infarction size and neurological deficits (p < 0.05, p < 0.01).
