Higher levels of several ligand-receptor communications, such as THBS1-CD47, THBS1-CD36, SEMA3C-NRP2/PLXNA2, PROS1-AXL, NAMPT-ITGA5/ITGB1, LAMC1-CD44, LAMA4-CD44, LAMA3-CD44, FN1-CD44, FN1-ITGAV/ITGB1, COL4A1-ITGA11/ITGB1, ANGPTL4-SDC2, and ADGRE5-CD55 were found in breast cancer (Supplementary Figure S8) and communications related to angiogenesis, inflammation and immune regulation were promoted (Figure 7C). This evidence concerns the gene ITGA5 and breast cancer.
