To further investigate the molecular function implication of these DEGs (Differentially Expressed Genes), we further adapted the KEGG enrichment analysis, these DEGs were shown to be significantly associated with signaling pathways related to immune and inflammation response pathways related to cancer, such as cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction pathways, chemokine signaling pathway, cell adhesion molecules pathway, natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity pathways, and PD-L1 expression and PD-1 checkpoint pathway (Figure 2B). This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and cancer.
